"Northern California Milky Way" is a contemporary color photograph on aluminum by Northern California artist Matt Chesebrough. A long exposure was used to capture the milky way. During the long exposure, Chesebrough used a flashlight to "light paint" the grasses and lone oak tree. The photograph was taken at Henry W.
