Bianca Levan

Paper Artist

Journey through the tiny, magical world of Bianca Levan's cut paper landscapes. Each scene references her internal world, an idea she is exploring, or an observation. Her process of paper cutting is a method of emotional processing.

Her landscapes often include elements found in nature such as trees, plant life, bodies of water and mountains. She also includes remnants of human-created structures and objects.

Bianca Levan is a paper artist from San Francisco, California. She was raised in Moorpark, CA, surrounded by agricultural farmlands, orange groves, and the Santa Susana Mountains that have been deeply embedded in her memory. Bianca graduated from University of California Davis, where her studies of Biology and English Literature inform both her detailed and narrative ways of seeing.
